Friday

Sorry

The ghost of guilt catches Jennifer's tears as she scans for memories and photographs. Lonesome and troubled with many sleepless nights, she fails to comfort her bruised and broken heart. Did selfishness overstep the mark? And once his final words sink in they hit every damn nerve. Sorry you are gone. Jennifer is so sorry.

  4. Hi Marilyn

Some of these little flash fiction pieces feel as they are part of something bigger.
Are they loosely linked or previews of something larger?

  5. Hi.

This one isn't part of something bigger, but I'm working on a couple of other flash fiction pieces & they will become larger stories.

    Thanks for reading. :)

This flash is so haunting and full of regrets. Great work in so few words.
